The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) on Thursday rose 30-point-82 points, or one-point-26 percent, closing the day at two-thousand-467-point-49.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also closed higher, gaining six-point-47 points, or point-82 percent. It closed the day at 798-point-42.
On the foreign exchange, the South Korean won gained three-point-six won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-70-point-five won.
