Public organizations plan to recruit nearly 23-thousand regular employees next year as part of a massive government effort to bolster employment.

A total of 323 public organizations are part of the plan, which Finance Minister Kim Dong-yeon says will aim to make more than half of the hires in the first half of the year.

The Korea Railroad Corporation(KORAIL) plans to recruit one-thousand-600 workers. 

The Korea Electric Power Corporation(KEPCO) plans to hire one-thousand-586.
