South Korea’s Unification Minister Cho Myoung-gyon says Seoul is willing to help Pyongyang put down nuclear weapons program and achieve security guarantees through cooperation with neighboring countries.

Speaking at a Seoul conference Wednesday, he urged the North to stop doubting the South’s efforts, and promised peaceful coexistence and joint prosperity on the Korean Peninsula will be based on mutual respect between the two Koreas.
