President Moon Jae-in says South Korea is able to successfully prepare for the era of the fourth Industrial Revolution thanks to its pool of skilled workers and engineers.
 
Moon made his comments during a luncheon meeting at the presidential office Friday with members of the South Korean team that finished second in overall medal standings at the 44th World Skills Competition held in Abu Dhabi in October.
 
The president called on the team members to help enhance the country’s technological prowess with innovative ideas and pledged that the government will provide them with every assistance available.

Moon also said the government will implement policies to give due returns to skilled workers for their hard work, promising to create a society where they are respected.
