S. Korea's Consumer Prices Rise at Slowest Pace This Year in November

South Korea's consumer prices rose at the slowest pace this year in November.

According to data by Statistics Korea on Friday, the consumer price index increased one-point-three percent last month from a year earlier.

It's the slowest growth since December last year, when it grew one-point-three percent.

Consumer prices rose more than two percent for three straight months from July before falling to the one-percent range in October.

The decrease was mostly attributed to a sharp decline in vegetable prices, which fell 14-point-six percent last month.

Gas, water and electricity prices also dropped six-point-seven percent, pulling down overall prices by point-28 percentage points.
