The Korea Public Relations Association has named Professor Han Jung-ho of Yonsei University's communications department as "PR person of the year."

The association cited Han's research in mass media as well as his dedication to educating and training journalism and PR personnel for the past 25 years.

An award ceremony will be held at the Plaza Hotel in Seoul on Thursday. 

Han will receive an award from the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
