Early November has ushered in high export growth on the back of brisk semiconductor sales.
 
The Korea Customs Service said that exports during the first ten days of this month rose 15-point-six percent from a year ago to 16 billion dollars.
 
Outbound shipments have seen continued growth for the 12th consecutive month since last November. If the trend continues through this month, the growth streak will mark its 13th month.
 
Taking into account the number of business days this month so far, the daily average export volume stands at one-point-nine billion dollars, also up 15-point-six percent.
 
By sector, semiconductor exports posted sharp growth of 64 percent while shipments of automobiles and oil products also jumped more than 49 and 44 percent each.
