KOSPI Renews Record High, Closes Friday at 2,557.97

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) on Friday renewed its record high for the fourth time this week. It gained eleven-point-61 points, or point-46 percent, to close the day at two-thousand-557-point-97.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining six-point-17 points, or point-89 percent. It closed the day at 701-point-13.
On the foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency strengthened point-six won against the U.S. dollar, closing at one-thousand-113-point-eight won.
