NIS: Kim Jong-nam’s Son Safe in Third Country

Kim Han-sol, the son of Kim Jong-nam who was allegedly assassinated in a plot masterminded by North Korean agents, is said to be safe in a third country.

South Korea's National Intelligence Service(NIS) revealed the news during a closed parliamentary audit of the spy agency on Friday, according to lawmakers.

The NIS also said recent reports that China apprehended would-be assassins of the 22-year-old are likely untrue as Kim is not in China.
