The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) on Thursday fell eleven-point-87 points, or point-48 percent, to close the day at two-thousand-480-point-63.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing eight-point-53 points, or one-point-24 percent. It closed the day at 680-point-61.
On the foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency strengthened three-point-three won against the U.S. dollar, closing at one-thousand-124-point-six won.
