North Korea has warned that South Korea and the U.S. will face strikes beyond their imagination at unexpected times, criticizing their joint maritime drills and the U.S' deployment of its strategic assets to the Korean Peninsula. 
 
According to the North's official Korean Central News Agency(KCNA) on Thursday, a North Korean propaganda group said on Wednesday that the joint maritime drills and a number of U.S. strategic assets taking part in the Seoul International Aerospace Defense Exhibition show that Seoul and Washington are desperate to trigger a war on the Korean Peninsula. 
 
The group warned that warmongers in the U.S. and South Korea must not forget that North Korea will carry out self-defense moves at any time, warning of the highest level of strong responses to the ongoing military drills between Seoul and Washington.
