Prosecutors Raid McDonald's Korea over Food Poisoning Case

Prosecutors on Wednesday raided McDonald's Korea headquarters, widening its probe into allegations that the fast food restaurant's hamburger patties caused five Koreans to contract the hemolytic uremic syndrome(HUS).

A team from the Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office searched and retrieved materials for evidence from McDonald's Korea headquarters in central Seoul, and three affiliated companies.

It has been more than three months since complaints were filed by the affected persons.
