The Moon Jae-in administration's five-year road map on job policies will be announced Wednesday afternoon following a meeting presided over by the president.
The plan calls for creating 810-thousand jobs in the public sector and establishing a state governance system centered on employment.
The ruling Democratic Party's chief policymaker Rep. Kim Tae-nyeon said Wednesday that the five-year road map was discussed between the government, ruling party and the presidential office.
He said the blueprint includes concrete policy measures based on the government's five-year plan for state administration previously announced by the president's policy advisory team.
The lawmaker said the road map is an action plan for the next five years serving as a compass for the Moon government's jobs policy direction.
Kim said the road map consists of 100 policy tasks in ten key areas of five fields.
The five fields include establishing a state governance system centered on employment, public and private sector job creation, improvement of job quality and support for customized jobs.
