Korea's information technology exports hit a record high in September according to the science and trade ministries on Monday.
 
Outbound shipments of ICT products reached nineteen-point-three billion dollars, a 32-point-six percent jump on-year, and the biggest rate of increase since April, 2010.
 
The number tops August's record of 17-point-four billion dollars.

Semiconductors took up the majority of exports, accounting for more than nine-point-nine billion dollars. Displays and computer devices also fared well, recording two-point-nine billion and 950 million dollars respectively.
 
By region, shipments to Vietnam grew by 89 percent and to the U.S. by 32 percent.
