N. Korea Holds Massive Anti-US Rally in Pyongyang

Hundreds of thousands of North Koreans gathered in Pyongyang for a mass rally that showed support for their leader Kim Jong-un and its stance against the United States.

North Korea's state-run Korean Central News Agency reported on Sunday that about 100-thousand people attended the rally at Kim Il Sung Square in Pyongyang on Saturday.

In the rally, Kim Su-gil, alternate member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party, read out Kim Jong-un's statement released on Friday.

In the rare statement, Kim Jong-un vowed to take the "highest-level" action in response to U.S. President Donald Trump's threat to "totally destroy" the North over its nuclear and missile programs.

In the Saturday rally, Ri Il-bae, a commanding officer of the Worker-Peasant Red Guards, said North Korea was ready to remove the evil U.S. empire from the globe.

Ri reportedly said that once Supreme Commander Kim Jong-un issues an order, North Koreans will annihilate the group of aggressors with its arms of the revolution.
