A second round of talks over Washington's request to amend the Korea-U.S. free trade agreement(KORUS FTA) will be held in Washington next month.

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy said Saturday that the meeting will be held on October fourth.

Minister for Trade Kim Hyun-chong and U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer agreed on the need to advance discussions made during the first round of talks in Seoul when they met in Washington on Wednesday.
