KOSPI Recovers after Early Loss on N. Korea

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) on Friday fell early in the day following the North’s missile launch but recovered to close up eight-point-41 points, or point-35 percent. KOSPI closed the day at two-thousand-386-point-07. 

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining five-point-89 points, or point-89 percent. It closed the day at 671-point-30. 

On the foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency strengthened point-nine won against the U.S. dollar, closing at one-thousand-131-point-seven won.
