Finance Minister Kim Dong-yeon assured that South Korea's financial market seems stable for the most part despite North Korea's ballistic missile launch early Friday.
 
Kim told reporters that market volatility following the launch was within the range of the government's expectations.
 
While the minister does not expect sharp turns in the market, he pledged to closely monitor developments and respond promptly and resolutely upon any sudden changes.
