A new survey shows that more than three out of four large South Korean companies are planning to recruit new employees this year similar to levels last year or even more.
 
The survey commissioned by the Korea Economic Research Institute showed on Monday that 52-point-six percent of the polled companies are planning to hire a similar number of new or career employees this year compared to last year, while 22 percent said they plan to hire more than last year.
 
On the other hand, only 19-point-one percent said they will hire less.
 
Pollster Research and Research conducted the survey on the top 500 South Korean companies in terms of sales last year and 209 of them responded.
