KOSPI Closes 1.19% Lower at 2,329.65

South Korea's main bourse and the value of the won retreated on Monday, unnerved by tensions on the Korean Peninsula following the North's sixth nuclear test 

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) plunged 28-point-04 points, or one-point-19 percent, to close at two-thousand-329-point-65. 

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing eleven-point-10 points, or one-point-68 percent. It closed the day at 650-point-89. 

On the foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency weakened ten-point-two won against the U.S. dollar, closing at one-thousand-133 won.
