Samsung Electronics has unveiled its latest Galaxy Note 8 smartphone in the U.S.
Samsung launched its flagship smartphone on Wednesday at the Park Avenue Armory in New York with about 15-hundred journalists and business partners in attendance.
The new device features a six-point-three inch display, which is the largest screen on a Note.
It also comes with an S Pen stylus with enhanced functions and improved sensitivity, and boasts two 12-megapixel camera lenses.
Taking safety into consideration, the capacity of the new smartphone's battery stands at 33-hundred milliampere hours, which is lower than the 35-hundred milliampere hour pack used in the ill-fated Galaxy Note 7.
The latest Galaxy handset will hit the market on September 15th starting in South Korea, and will be gradually distributed to the global market.
