US B-1B Bombers Fly over Korean Peninsula Again

A pair of B-1B U.S. strategic bombers flew over the Korean Peninsula in a joint drill with South Korean fighters on Tuesday.

A South Korean defense official said on Wednesday that the two B-1B Lancers from Andersen Air Force in Guam were deployed to the peninsula Tuesday as part of a combined exercise with the South's fighter jets.

The flight came just ten days after the previous deployment on July 30th in response to North Korea’s launch of its intercontinental ballistic missile Hwasong-14 on July 28th.
