South Korea says it is maintaining a full readiness posture amid media speculation North Korea may be planning another imminent missile test-launch.

Foreign Ministry Spokesman Cho June-hyuck told reporters Tuesday South Korea and the United States are working together closely to monitor North Korea's moves.

CNN of the United States earlier quoted a U.S. defense official as saying that the North seems to be preparing for an additional ballistic missile test this week.
