The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) closed lower on Tuesday, and broke its eight-day streak of record highs. 

KOSPI slipped eleven-point-63 points, or point-47 percent, to close at two-thousand-439-point-90.
 
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing six-point-85 points or one-point-01 percent. It closed the day at 670-point-47.
 
On the foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency weakened one-point-three won against the dollar, closing the day at one-thousand-115-point-three won.
