The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) yet again hit a new high on Monday after surpassing the two-thousand-450 mark last Friday.
 
KOSPI gained one-point-47 points, or point-06 percent, to close the day at two-thousand-451-point-53. KOSPI has been hitting new highs for the past eight consecutive days.
 
Meanwhile, the tech-heavy KOSDAQ also climbed, adding point-72 point or point-11 percent. It closed the day at 677-point-32.
 
On the foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency strengthened four-point-two won against the dollar, closing at one-thousand-114 won.
