The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI)
yet again hit a new high on Thursday, breaking the previous high posted just
the day before.
 
KOSPI gained eleven-point-90 points, or point-49 percent, to close the day at
two-thousand-441-point-84. KOSPI has been hitting new highs for the past six
consecutive days.

Meanwhile, the tech-heavy KOSDAQ also climbed, adding four-point-98 points or
point-74 percent. It closed the day at 676-point-51.
 
On the foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency weakened four-point-nine
won against the dollar, closing at one-thousand-125-point-five won.
