The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) yet again hit a new high on Tuesday, breaking the previous high posted just the day before.
 
KOSPI gained point-94 point, or point-04 percent, to close the day at two-thousand-426-point-04. KOSPI has been hitting new highs for the past four consecutive days.

Meanwhile, the tech-heavy KOSDAQ also climbed, adding four-point-13 points or point-63 percent. It closed the day at 664-point-02.
 
On the foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency strengthened five-point-two won against the dollar, closing at one-thousand-123-point-one won.
