The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) on Wednesday slipped four-point-23 points, or point-18 percent, to close at two-thousand-391-point-77.
 
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing four-point-91 points or point-75 percent. It closed the day at 651-point-10.
 
On the foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency strengthened six won against the dollar, closing at one-thousand-145-point-one won.
