KOSPI Closes 0.09% Lower at 2,372.64

 The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) renewed an all-time record for intraday trading on Wednesday, but overall closed the day two-point-06 points, or point-09 percent, lower, finishing at two-thousand-372-point-64.

The KOSPI soared to two-thousand-387-point-29 at one point, breaking the previous intraday record of two-thousand-385-point-15. 

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ rose, gaining two-point-36 points or point-35 percent. It closed the day at 671-point-59. 
 
On the foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency was up four-point-four won against the U.S. dollar, closing at one-thousand-123-point-nine won.
