KOSPI Hits Record Intraday High

South Korea's benchmark stock index was off to a strong start on Wednesday, renewing an all-time record for intraday trading.
 
The Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) surged to two-thousand-387-point-29 shortly after the trading session began Wednesday morning, up by 12-point-09 points, or zero-point-51 percent, from Tuesday’s closing.

The index went down to two-thousand 378-point 22 as of 10:35 a.m.
 
The previous record high during midday on KOSPI, two-thousand-385-point-15, was reached last Friday.
