President Moon Jae-in called for the parliament's swift passage of the eleven-trillion won supplementary budget.
 
In a speech at the National Assembly on Monday, Moon said that the extra spending will spark job growth in the nation, pressuring the main opposition party that disagrees with his budget plan.

While citing worsening job conditions, he said that the situation is getting closer to a disaster level.
 
The main opposition Liberty Korea Party currently opposes the new administration's call for injecting eleven-point-two-trillion won, or nine-point-95 billion dollars, into the economy.
