The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) on Wednesday fell eight-point-48 points, or point-36 percent, to close at two-thousand-360-point-14.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ continued to rise, gaining four-point-14 points, or point-63 percent. It again renewed its yearly high and closed at 666-point-46.
On the foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency weakened five-point-seven won against the U.S. dollar, closing at one-thousand-124 won.
