Hyundai Asan will launch a new cruise tour linking South Korea and Japan from next month.
 
The tour operator announced on Wednesday that the base port for the cruise ship tour will be Busan Port.
 
The company said it signed a charter contract with Costa Cruise of Italy to use a 75-thousand ton cruise ship, the Costa Victoria, which can carry up to three thousand passengers and is dubbed a luxury hotel on the sea.
 
In 1998, Hyundai Asan became the first operator in the country to start tours to Mount Geumgang in North Korea using cruise ships.
