The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) has again renewed an all-time high on Thursday on the back of purchases by institutions and foreign investors.

The KOSPI added 25-point-59 points or one-point-10 percent onto its record high from the previous day, to close at two-thousand-342-point-93. 

At one point during trading, the index surged to two-thousand-343-point-72, also a record intraday high. 

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ fell three-point-02 points, or point-47 percent, to close at 643-point-02.
 
On the foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency strengthened ten-point-three won against the U.S. dollar, closing at one-thousand-116-point-five won.
