India Slaps Antidumping Duties on S. Korean Steel Products

India has imposed antidumping duties on steel products from South Korea and five other countries.

The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency(KOTRA) says the Indian duties affect 47 steel products from South Korea, China, Japan, Russia, Brazil and Indonesia.

The Indian Finance Ministry imposed 478 to 561 U.S. dollars per ton on South Korean steel products for the next five years until 2021.

South Korean steelmakers account for 24 percent of India’s imported steel market.
