S. Korea's Exports On Track for Growth for 6th Straight Month

South Korea’s exports are continuing to grow.  
 
According to the Korea Customs Service(KCS) on Thursday, the country exported nine-point-seven billion dollars in the first ten days of this month, an increase of four-point-five percent from a year earlier.
 
It keeps exports on track for growth for a sixth consecutive month since November, which will be the longest export growth rally since December of 2011.
 
By specific item, the outbound shipments of petroleum products skyrocketed by 117-point-eight percent while exports of semiconductors jumped by 43 percent.
 
The overall imports during the ten day period also increased by 12-point-two percent to eleven-point-three billion dollars from last year, resulting in a trade deficit worth one-point-six billion dollars.
