Korean Air Buys 2nd B787-9 Dreamliner

Korean Air received its second B787-9 Dreamliner airplane from Boeing on Thursday.
 
The plane will go into service on May second and initially fly between Gimpo and Jeju three times a day. It will begin flying international routes starting with Canada’s Toronto and Japan’s Fukuoka on June first.
 
The new jet’s fuel efficiency per seat is 20 percent higher than other planes, with carbon emissions 20 percent less.
 
Other features include larger, button-operated windows and an interior LED lighting system.
 
Meanwhile, Asiana Airlines introduced its first A350 plane, the next-generation aircraft of Airbus.
 
With a total of 311 seats, the new plane offers in-flight WiFi, mobile phone roaming services and more legroom for economy class passengers.
