Stock market pundits are predicting that the benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) will climb to as high as two-thousand-350 this year.
 
The upbeat predictions were presented by Shinhan Investment Corporation, NH Investment and Securities Corporation and Meritz Securities.
 
Japan’s Nomura Securities said that KOSPI has the potential to rally to three-thousand if the rights of shareholders are strengthened so the dividend payout ratio is raised from the current 20 percent to 50 percent, as it is in Japan. 

The company delivered the opinion in a recent report predicting South Korea’s macroeconomic policies and stock market after the May presidential election.
