KOSPI Hits Yearly High

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) reached a new yearly high on Tuesday, gaining 23-point-11 points to close at two-thousand-196-point-85.

Foreign investors bought South Korean stocks for a third straight session leading to a one-point-06 percent increase. 
 
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose five-point-95 points, or point-95 percent, to close at 632-point-57.
 
On the foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency strengthened four-point-five won against the U.S. dollar, closing at one-thousand-125-point-four won.
