The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency known as KOTRA has hosted a business meeting between medium and small-sized South Korean exporters and British defense firm Babcock International.
 
The export conference held in Seoul Thursday was attended by some 80 Korean company officials in the fields of national defense, offshore plants and cyber security as well as Jeff Owen, Babcock director for business growth.
 
During the event, Owen introduced its win-win strategies for companies including its purchasing policies and cooperative measures. 
 
KOTRA, meanwhile, promised support for research and development by Korean firms that will forge collaborative ties with Babcock.
 
During the conference, Korean exporters in areas of maritime shipbuilding, defense and security discussed various ways of cooperating with the U.K. firm.
