Gov’t Prioritizes Job Creation in 2018 Budget Spending

The government has placed top priority on job creation for budget spending next year.

The government approved guidelines on drawing up a budget proposal for 2018 at a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday.

Three more issues were also prioritized for budget execution, such as responding to the fourth Industrial Revolution, addressing the nation’s low birthrate and narrowing the gap between the rich and the poor.

Needed financial resources will be secured through managing fiscal funds more efficiently.

The 2018 budget is set at 414-point-three trillion won, up three-point-four percent from this year’s.
