United States electric carmaker Tesla Motors will open its first showrooms in South Korea next week.

Tesla Korea, the local distributer of the automaker, announced the launch of Tesla in an e-mail sent to potential customers on Tuesday, saying that it will open stores in Seoul on March 15 and Hanam in Gyeonggi Province on March 17.

At the stores, clients can test-drive the S 90D, the first Tesla model that will be on sale in the country. The initial price of the modal is set at 121 million won.
