The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) on Wednesday rose nine-point-29 points, or point-45 percent, to close the day at two-thousand-83-point-86. 

The tech-laden KOSDAQ inched up four-point-41 points, or point-72 percent, to close at 615-point-95. 
 
On the Seoul foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency weakened four-point-eight won to close at one-thousand-142-point-two won against the dollar.
