North Korean media reports that regime leader Kim Jong-un supervised a tank infantry regiment’s winter exercises, including a river-crossing drill, on Saturday.

According to the North’s official Korean Central News Agency(KCNA), Kim provided field guidance for the Seoul Ryu Kyong Su 105 Guards Tank Division of the Korean People’s Army in Pyongyang. 

KCNA said Kim was accompanied by head of the General Political Bureau, Hwang Pyong-so, and Chief of the Korean People’s Army General Staff Ri Myong-su, among others.

Kim reportedly praised the soldiers during the field guidance, calling on them to train hard and wipe out South Korea and the U.S.
