N. Korea Warns US over Plan to Intercept ICBM

North Korea has threatened that it is ready to go to war if the United States attempts to intercept its intercontinental ballistic missiles(ICBM).

The mouthpiece newspaper of the ruling Workers' Party, the Rodong Sinmun, on Tuesday criticized the U.S., likening Washington’s plan to intercept the North’s ICBMs to a stupid move to block hail with pumpkin leaves.

The paper threatened that if the U.S. attempts to intercept the North’s ICBM, it would trigger a war.

It said that Washington must remember that it may see its total annihilation while trying to block Pyongyang's test launch of ICBMs.
