KOSPI Edges down; KOSDAQ up

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) on Thursday shed point-18 percent to close at two-thousand-41.
 
The tech-laden KOSDAQ, on the other hand, rose point-42 percent to 642.

On the foreign exchange market, the value of the South Korean won shot up 20 won against the U.S. dollar, closing at one-thousand-186 as investors wait to hear more about President-elect Donald Trump's economic policies.
