S. Korea Sees Snowy, Cloudy Day

Most parts of the country's central and western regions woke up to snow.

The Korea Meteorological Administration(KMA) said that Seoul and the Gyeonggi, South Chungcheong and Jeolla provinces saw snow on Thursday morning under mostly cloudy skies.

As of 5 a.m., one centimeter of snow had accumulated in Seoul, while Incheon received one-point-five centimeters. In Suwon outside of Seoul and Seosan in South Chungcheong Province, one-point-three centimeters and one-point-five centimeters of snow, respectively, piled up.

The weather agency alerted drivers to exercise caution as freezing temperatures will cause roads to become icy.
