A new survey finds that the number of businesses in South Korea topped three-point-87 million under which 21 million people are employed.
 
According to tentative data from Statistics Korea revealed on Wednesday, the number of businesses grew by 15-and-a-half percent from 2010 to stand at roughly three-point-87 million as of the end of 2015. This signifies that the number of businesses surged two-point-nine percent on average annually.
 
Meanwhile, the number of people working for the businesses stood at around 20-point-79 million, up nearly 18 percent from 2010. On average, the figure grew three-point-three percent annually.
