Capsule Hotel to Debut at Incheon Airport in January

The Walkerhill Hotel has announced plans to open the nation’s first capsule hotel at Incheon International Airport on January 20th.

Walkerhill said that the “Darak Hyu" will be located on the first floor of the airport’s transportation center and have 60 rooms for passengers who have layovers in Incheon.

Guest rooms are available in four types — rooms with a single or double bed with or without a shower. A shared shower facility will be offered for guests who stay at rooms without a shower booth. A single room measures about six-point-three square meters.

Room rates range from eight-thousand to 13-thousand won an hour.

Reservations can be made online(www.walkerhill.com/capsulehotel) starting from January first.

A capsule hotel refers to a lodging facility featuring extremely small one-person rooms.
