The Ministry of Employment and Labor has finalized a list for next year of industries that will receive state help in fostering and training personnel.
In a meeting on Thursday, the ministry excluded gilding, minting and semiconductor surface treatment work from its list of industries eligible to receive state support after personnel training proved ineffective or no related training took place in the fields.
The ministry added to its list 14 types of industries from areas witnessing rising demand due to the fourth industrial revolution. Such industries include the Internet of Things, developing and utilizing big data, augmented reality and fintech, which have exhibited strong employment potential.
For new and emerging industries, the Labor Ministry plans to put off carrying out performance evaluations for three years in order to give them time to configure a training apparatus.
